Since attending medical school in my native Spain, I have always had a passion for skin. Since moving to the UK, I have worked in both General Practice, Intermediate Care and Hospital Dermatology, acquiring over 30 years of experience of working in the NHS. This gives me unique expertise across the board to help you navigate an increasingly complex UK Healthcare system and address your skin concerns.

I believe in collaborative medicine with my patients. I approach skin and aesthetic problems in a holistic manner and will aim to help you address these with an accurate diagnosis and an honest discussion of your treatment options. In my experience, the best approach to looking after your health is the one that you believe in and are happy to follow.

I have extensive diagnostic expertise because of working in an acute Hospital Trust for many years, dealing with dermatological emergencies and supervising junior doctors and a multidisciplinary team. I am a good communicator and can liaise with other health practitioners when required for your care. I regularly keep up to date in new treatments, research and developments and take an active part in education through talks, presentations and social media. 

My aim is to be approachable and demystify skin health by giving you access to my expertise and keeping your safety at the forefront of what I do.
